The Woman in Black (2012)
Mise-en-scene

The woman in black is a young lawyer who is struggling with work after the death of his wife that gets sent to a remote village to settle the estate of a dead woman who owns and manor. the village residents want him to leave as they are trying to figure out a deadly secret, but he refuses and soon he discovers the house of his dead woman is haunted by the ghost of a woman who is dress in all black. the woman dressed in black lost her son so she appears secretly into the village and takes a child life.

Watch the trailer below: -

Settings

The movie woman in black is based in an abandoned house along the sea coast. There are lots of swamps and mist. the setting of the movie is a very typical setting to a horror movie.
the frame above shows the type of eerie, mystical setting of the whole movie. Also the road goes off into the distance, which shows the house is based far away from normal civilisation.

Props

The props in the woman in black are, a coffin, a rocking chair a grave and a candle.

Some props are very good in horror movies, especially child toys such as dolls, the reason for this being because they have quite a eerie look about them.

A recent has just come out called annabelle, annabelle is a doll who contains a possessed soul. As you can see the doll is very creepy looking, it has a lost look in his eye, the smile is also very creepy, personally i think this is one of the most successful and scary props in a horror movie.

Scotland! For or against?

Hi guysss, I'm back!

I'm guessing you lot have heard about the scotland situation, personally, it doesn't bother me, but apparently it bothers a lot of people, and i don't know why.

Scotland want to become independent because they want and they believe it will be better for their country, and if they want to believe that, other countries cannot change their decision.

I believe that people will be voting today, i don't think that should happen because the general public does not know exactly what the pros and cons are, some just like the idea of being their own country.

I recently watched a few videos relating to the current subject, and they population is split 50/50 whether they should become independent.

One person said "Scotland will have a smaller voice on the world stage if independent."

Scotland is not a very big country so many of their views might be overlooked because of the size of their country.

Someone else said " Scotland would have a much stronger economy. Scotland owns huge shares in oil, which we wouldn't have to split if we became independent"

This statement shows that scotland can keep their resources and have to share them with other countries.

We all know that everyone will have different opinions about the situation, but i think its best if we leave it to the people who know exactly what they are doing, and hopefully they make the right decision.
